I don’t travel only to know new places or to see them. I travel to know new people. The reality is seeing new places is an extra achievement for me. The main thing that attracts me more than the place itself is its people and the culture that has developed over the years. Sometimes over hundreds of years.
I eat with them, drink with them and more than anything I laugh with them. We share our stories. Stories about our life, love, and longings. It’s a bond that most people who don’t travel can never understand. Every traveler lives a thousand lives through those persons whom he has met down the road.
